Peramataki (Soros): A lovely family taverna with home-grown produce. Their handmade pies are legendary.

Kalokeri (Chora): Probably the best creative Greek food on the island. Stylish atmosphere, great ingredients.

Sapou (Port): High-end seafood with a modern twist. Great wine list and view of the harbor.

Vassilenas Blue (Port): Sophisticated seafood gastronomy.

The Rooster (Livadia): An organic, farm-to-table experience. It’s pricey but the sunset views and vibe are unmatched.

Elia Kafenes (Chora): A traditional kafenes with a modern soul, famous for its incredible egg dishes, "Kayiana," and fluffy pancakes. The perfect spot for a authentic, relaxed brunch before heading to the beach.

M’eros (Chora): The perfect spot for your morning coffee and breakfast. Very laid-back and stylish.

Afros Sips & Bites (Lagadia): An elegant bakery and coffee spot. Perfect for high-end pastries, fresh bread, and premium coffee in a beautifully designed setting.

Yam (Chora): Best spot for breakfast, brunch (pancakes, eggs), and great evening cocktails.

Blender (Chora): For fresh juices, coffee and quick healthy bowls before you hit the beach.

George's Grill (Port): The go-to spot for a quick, high-quality souvlaki.

Epo’s Burger (Chora): For the best smash burgers on the island.

Vicky’s Ice Cream (Chora): A local institution. Hand-crafted gelato that is a "must" for your evening stroll through the village.

Drink

Citron: Located on the main street. It’s the best spot for people-watching while sipping cocktails.

Bardot: Very "Island Chic" vibe with a beautiful courtyard and great music for dancing.

Tabula Rasa: A stylish bar with high-quality cocktails and a cool, minimal aesthetic.

The Rooster (Livadia): If you want a more high-end, secluded sunset experience, head here. It’s a bit pricy, but the cocktails and the scenery are world-class.

Parking areas

Parking in Chora: There are two main municipal parking lots at the entrance of the village (near the secondary school and the port). The main street of Chora is pedestrian-only.

Wedding Venues: Both the Maridis Home and Agrilia Estate have designated parking spaces as mentioned in our Weekend section.

The Weekend

Supermarkets & Essentials

Market In (Port): It has wide hours (usually open until 1:30 AM in August) and carries everything from fresh produce to beach gear.

Kritikos - Aliprantis (Main Pedestrian St): Centrally located on the main street.

AB Vassilopoulos (Outside the center): Located slightly further out (about a 10-15 minute walk or short drive from the port). This is the largest supermarket on the island.
