How to reach the island
Note: There is no direct flight or ferry from Athens to Antiparos. You must reach Paros first.
By Air
Step 1: Arrive in Paros: Fly into Paros Airport (30 min flight from Athens International Airport).
Step 2: Rent a Car: You can rent a car from Paros Airport. Pre-booking is strongly recommended.
Or
Take a Taxi/ Bus: You can take a taxi (pre-booking recommended) or the local bus from the Airport to Pounta Port.
Step 3: The 7-minute Ferry to Antiparos: Once you arrive at Pounta Port the local ferry to Antiparos runs every 30 minutes, takes only 7 minutes, and you buy your ticket (approx. 2€) directly on the boat. Your car goes on the ferry as well. No pre-booking is required!
By Sea
Step 1: Arrive in Paros: Take a ferry from Piraeus or Rafina Port (3-5 hours) to Paros (Parikia Port).
Step 2: The Ferry to Antiparos: Drive or take a taxi/bus (Taxi pre-booking recommended) to Pounta Port in Paros (15-20 minutes ride). Once you arrive at Pounta Port the local ferry to Antiparos runs every 30 minutes, takes only 7 minutes, and you buy your ticket (approx. 2€) directly on the boat. Your car goes on the ferry as well. No pre-booking is required!
Or
Direct, small, passenger-only boats run from Parikia port (main Paros port) to Antiparos daily, taking about 30 minutes and costing approximately €7 per person. (no cars are allowed on this boat).
A Local Tip: Antiparos is a small island, but we strongly recommend renting a car or scooter to explore the beaches, restaurants and reach the wedding venue comfortably, as there is only one taxi on the entire island!
